Coworking in the Eixample: working inside a creative studio
A fixed desk in a refurbished Eixample office, with a meeting room, terrace and 600 MB fibre. This is coworking at Hommu.

Working from home has its days: the ones when the fridge calls louder than the project, or when a video call catches you with the washing machine in the background. Looking for a coworking space is often about three simple things: routine, daylight and someone to discuss the latest series with.
At Hommu we run a small coworking space inside our studio in Barcelona's Eixample. It is not an endless sea of desks: it is a refurbished office where we design and work every day, with room for someone else.
The space as a tool
Each fixed desk is an independent 160 x 90 cm workstation with a low white wooden divider that gives privacy without closing you in. There is shelving and a low shelf for your things, a lockable metal cabinet, a new wheeled chair and symmetrical 600 MB fibre over Wi-Fi and cable. The office gets plenty of natural light with an east-facing orientation, plus air conditioning, heating and weekly cleaning.

Meeting clients without renting anything else
A meeting in a well-kept space says things about you before the presentation starts. The coworking includes a separate meeting room for up to seven people and a 32-inch smart TV for working sessions. And when the conversation needs air, there is a 6 m² outdoor terrace.
A weekly routine
Access is Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 22:00, with your own key. The kitchen has a fridge, coffee machine and microwave, and the minimum stay is two months: enough to test whether the routine works, without endless commitments.
Office neighbours
Sharing a roof with a creative studio means living alongside brand projects, campaigns and nerdy conversations about series and films. We do not promise magic synergies; we do promise a cheerful, tidy and respectful working atmosphere.
Where we are
We are at Casp 116, attic 1, in the Eixample, between Plaça de Tetuan and Passeig de Sant Joan (L2 Tetuan and L1 Arc de Triomf). Current terms and availability are on the coworking page. If you would like to see the space, write to studio@hommu.com and we will show you around.
