Objective

Oxfam Intermón published a report on taxation highlighting the consequences for everyone of large international companies maintaining a presence in tax havens. The «El dinero que no ves» campaign (Christmas 2017) aimed to raise public awareness and encourage people to act.

Idea

We created a collection of 4 banknotes printed with a special UV-sensitive ink: initially blank, when exposed to sunlight an illustration appeared representing what would be achieved by bringing to light the money these companies try to make disappear. Each banknote revealed one of the 4 major areas where the government could invest that money —education, healthcare, international cooperation and social protection— and was created by a renowned illustrator: Sergio Mora, Nomono, Emil Kozak and Judy Kaufmann.

Implementation

An integrated campaign with a 1-minute audiovisual piece, street marketing actions handing out the physical banknotes in 40 cities across Spain, graphics and pieces for internet and social media.
